Avery Dominates Mods, Pike Repeats in Super Streets
Submitted by: Alan Ward on 2016-06-05 at 20:30

Ryan Avery blasted into the lead at the drop of the green in the Peanut's Auto Sportsman Modified Feature. Derek O'Hearn settled into the second spot with third position being hotly contested. Jason Sanville eventually claimed third spot with the front trio separating themselves from the rest of the field. At the Checkers it was Avery with the win followed by O'Hearn and Sanville with Derek Graham and Robbie Williams completing the top five.

Doug Boucher took the lead from his pole position at the start of the Petro Mart of Enfield Super Street Feature. Boucher built an early lead but Bob Crawford Jr tracked Boucher down and took the lead before the midpoint of the race. Matt Pike raced into second and slowly tracked down Crawford Jr, but had nothing for him until Crawford Jr's Right Rear tire started going down, this allowed Pike to take the lead on the white flag lap and collect his second consecutive win. Crawford Jr. held on for second with JP Vaillancourt third, Doug Boucher fourth and Cassie Ottati Fifth.

The Enfield Garage Outlaw Mini Stocks found Eric Castiglioni breaking into the lead from the pole position. While Castiglioni was pulling away from the field Matt Boucher was working his way toward the front from his eighth starting spot. Boucher arrived on Castiglioni's bumper with about five laps to go and after a brief battle annexed the lead, going on to take the win. Castiglioni claimed second with Jack Cook completing the top three. Sean Lantas and Mike Lique completed the top five.

The Granite State Mini Sprints were on hand this week also with Bob Griffin topping Tanner Siemons, Brent Warren, Owen Carbee and Kyle Pittman in the 500cc Class. The 600cc class saw John Scarborough take the win over Kyle Belliveau and John Mills. Robert Griffin and Sean Beinhauer completed the top five.

The evening was supposed to finish with an Enduro, but the rain hit just as the Enduro was taking to the track, forcing it to be postponed until this Friday, June 10th.

Up this Friday in addition to the Enduro will be the regular classes of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Twilight Racing Challenge plus the Granite State Mini Sprints.

Up this Saturday, June 11th at the Legion Speedway will be the 2nd Leg of the All American Truck Pulling Series at 11:00AM.

As a reminder if you have children and attend do not forget to sign them up for the Kids Club as June 24th will be the annual Kids Ride night and Bicycle giveaway.
