I'd like to thank all those who attended our informational meeting held last Saturday. Thank you to the American Legion Post 76 for providing a place to hold the meeting and making the hot coffee. There were many very good suggestions for the 2015 racing season. It was very encouraging to see the interest and hear all the positive input! Some of the items we discussed were: a tire rule, making start time later when school is out, lineup procedure, advertising and promotional efforts being made to increase grandstand attendance, car shows, enduro races and a tentative schedule. May 3rd, 2015 we will have a car show at the entrance to the track with practice following (times will be posted). May 10, 2015 will be our first race of the season being a regular show with Sprint Cars of New England visiting. On the weekend of July 4th, we will race on Friday night with no Sunday show. On Sunday, Aug. 9th, there will be no racing. Otherwise, we will race every Sunday until late September. Watch the website for our full schedule.
I am considering the suggestions that were made and will post my decisions very soon.
