WENTWORTH, NH - The Lucas Oil POWRi Outlaw Midgets returned to Legion Speedway on Sunday to take part in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Twilight Racing Challenge. No. 76M Adam Pierson started in the rear, charged to the front, and left everyone else in his dust while he took the checkered. Frank Malec in the 6 didn't have enough to hold off Pierson and finished second. No. 9 Dean Christensen took third.

The Bear Ridge Speedway Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes also returned to Legion Speedway this week. Despite the hot and sunny conditions that led to a dusty track, the coupes put on another great show. Josh Harrington drove his 17 machine from mid-pack to the front for the win and no. 4 Jeff Robbins came in second. Earl Maxham, a regular at the track on the 631 modified crew, also came from mid-field and finished third in the 43.

The Mike's Automotive Sportsman Modifieds saw some excitement during their feature. Early race leader No. 15 David Heath was caught in an unfortunate incident that ended with No. 26 Jeff Huntington on top of Heath's hood and both cars in the rear for the restart. Neither was able to work their way back to the front. No. 5 Gary Siemons was the first across the line when the checkered flew, protecting his top spot in the points race. Chad Turck was second in the 56 and Josh Sunn, who also pilots the 76 POWRi Outlaw Midget, finished third.

The Peanuts Automotive Super Street/Bond Auto Parts Pure Stock race saw numerous cautions before Derek O'Hearn took the checkered in the No. 55. Nick O'Haire No. 09 finished second and Sam Comeau was third in the No. 30. Pure Stock finish was 77 Ryan Ovitt, 54 Cassie Ottati, 65 Dennis Thorogood.

The Enfield Garage Mini Stocks Had a good car count and put on a good show. Aaron Bunker won in the 55, Chris Conroy finished second in the 78, and John Knight was third in the 12K.

Another great day for The Kids Club! We introduced Dipsy the Dinosaur! The kids enjoyed him! We also enjoyed some ice pops and ring pops courtesy of Teri Wyman. Thank you! Really looking forward to next week and the race car rides for the kids! Its the kids turn to have their victory lap! See you next week! Julie
